Our Authentic Kobe Beef Experience in Kobe, Japan (Steakland Kobekan)

The day started pretty well with the beautiful weather until we hit the road. When we travel, HB loves to walk, and this time was no exception. And so we walked almost an hour from Kitano Cho to Nankinmachi, which totally killed my mood. I got so tired, and my feet were killing me, and then I began limping. That's the reason why I only have a few photos and no video at all in Kobe's Chinatown. I love being able to explore places leisurely and at my own pace. Nevertheless, it has changed my mood for the better and, it did trigger my brain to release endorphins when we had dinner at a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant.

Of course, we couldn't part ways from the city of Kobe without having some of that famous Kobe beef. We decided to go to Steakland, a restaurant specializing in Kobe beef. Since we never made a reservation, we waited for quite a while, and we were seated at a U-shaped Teppanyaki table with seven seating around the centered grill.

We ordered the Kobe Beef Steak Set 180g (5,300 Yen/person) which includes soup, salad, grilled vegetables, juice, and coffee. The atmosphere was lovely with a Japanese chef cooking the top quality steaks to a perfect well-done on an iron plate in front of us. And, oh, the aroma of the grilled Kobe beef wafting through the air turned us into drooling fools.https://hdsmileys.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/seeing-hearts.gif The first bite was sensational, and it was tender and a 'melt in your mouth' goodness experience. I feel that everything warrants the price there, and the quality of the food was all great. Overall, we did get our money's worth. And all too soon, our little Kobe day trip had come to an end. A taste of authentic Kobe beef is a unique experience not to be missed by visitors. Kobe beef is a world-famous delicacy valued for its flavor, tenderness, and marbled texture. It comes from specially bred Tajima cattle raised and prepared (a specific Japanese Black strain) only in the Hyogo Prefecture of Japan. This Japanese delicacy is prepared and cooked as steak, shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, sashimi, and teppanyaki style. Ahh, at this point, a signal is sent to my brain's primary salivary centers just reminiscing about our Kobe Beef experience.https://hdsmileys.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/female-emoji-in-love.gif And not only the food but also the Nunobiki Herb Garden's beautiful atmosphere captivates me most in Kobe, Japan.
