Occasionally every woman needs some dolling herself up to feel better right? And so I managed to snap an outfit photo for the blog over the weekend when we had a stay-cation at Acacia Hotel but I just got time to edit them now.

A black blazer is another closest wardrobe staple of mine as it can be worn on so many occasions, perfect for party, corporate functions or even just a casual gathering. Knowing how to spruce up with accessories can make your outfit appear different each time you wear it. Here I tried to create a stylish look. I know I'm not a model and I have a lot of curves. Don't judge me. But at least I stand 5'9 here with heels. :D

Outfit details:
Comme des Garcons inspired blazer from Hong Kong
Weekender polo from SM
Old Navy pants (similar)
Prada Bi-color suede platforms (similar)
Betsey Johnson socks
Burberry hobo bag (similar)
Martin Margiela 11 ring (similar)
Juicy Couture clover wish necklace and Betsey Johnson butterfly necklace
Betsey Johnson "bling bling time" butterfly dial watch
Noir thin leather pyramid stud bracelet in red

Blazers are also amazing for dressing up a casual black bottom. Then I threw on a pair of my Prada 5-inch wedge heel I scored from Saks Fifth Avenue last December. Walking in high heels is always a tricky business for me however they really elongate your gams and make you look taller and slimmer. Hm, I need some more practice until I really get used to them.

I think I'm late to the "wedges with socks" craze. But better late then never, eh?

I'm more of a homebody person than a party girl, so I very rarely wear nice clothes. As a result, it was fun putting outfits together and making an outfit shot. Thanks to my better half for accommodating my crazy request. ;)

Have a happy Tuesday lovely peeps!

Toodles, until next time,
