TAIPEI FOR THE SECOND TIME!

We were looking forward to some chilly weather in Taipei, however it wasn't really that super cold just like we were anticipating. But it was more than pleasant enough to feel the fresh air and cool sunny days. So I just wore some of my long sleeve tops with a scarf instead of a jacket.

The past three days have been filled with great & cheap food, and some entertaining mini exploration particularly in Ximending area. We got to sample again the famous stinky tofu (check out my post here), tried some local street food and drinks such as Pearl Milk Tea or also known as bubble tea with pearls, the peculiar White Bitter Gourd juice, and the awesome Scallion Pancake.

Taiwan's famous drink - Pearl Milk Tea

And guess what? Drum roll, please... we tried the P*N*S GAYKE! If you don't get it, let's go to a more subtle substitute. It's the phallus or the male reproductive organ! Yes, folks we've tried it! Sounds crazy, huh? :))

Just a little peek for you guys. I'll divulge more on this later on my upcoming posts. ;)

Also made a visit to the 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition, Red House, Hello Kitty Sweets Cafe, Fisherman's Wharf and Danshui Market. I can't wait to share these with you peeps and feature it on this blog. So please stay tuned.
