ULTRA DEEP
At last, I finally get to talk about one of my favorite pants - the ultra deep wide trouser. I'm a "jeans" kind of person and it's my comfortable daily uniform. But lately, I've been having a little obsession with wide & baggy trousers and harem pants.
Since Japanese luxury fashion label Comme de Garcons clothing is a little bit expensive, I look for another alternative that has a similar style - oversize, asymmetrical, deconstructed and layered shapes in fabrics.
Just a few months ago, I got this La Mode Ultra Deep Rise des Wide Pants for US$ 35.50 (around Php 1,670.00) from Ebay Hong Kong seller. It's a wide legged trouser with elasticized waist. I really like it because the fabric is soft. The cut is very roomy and comfortable. It's like I'm wearing a skirt and a pair of pants.
This is the most comfortable pants I have ever purchased. I just wish there were more colors. I've been aching to wear it but HB doesn't want me to wear this here in Manila.
I think he's afraid I might get a lot of stares or cause some raised eyebrows (hahaha...) since most people here are not yet into this kind of fashion unlike Japan and Korea that are known for being fashion forward.
Oh, I think this would look great with my Juicy Couture flip flops (Php 2,500 /US$ 55) or rubber jelly Tory Burch Reva flats (Php 4,465 / US$ 95.00).
What do you think guys? Should I wear it or not? hmm....
Toodles, until next time,

Hi april,
ReplyDeleteThe red flip flop is a "Juicy Couture" brand from US, now owned by the Liz Claiborne fashion company. It's not a trend. It's a juicy couture style to feature a logo-print ribbon design and a cute little heart or pendants on strap. And yes, it's really cute and I love it. :)
You take care too my dear. ;)
