I totally agree with your observations about F1, this is the most unprofessionally managed so called pretending to be 5 star hotel. I believe the owners think they are experts and can manage the hotel on their own. Just goes to show that the fish does rot from the head! It does not mean that owning a hotel makes one an expert in running one.

My family were one of the most early patrons of Ocho Seafood back in 2003 when it was just an ëight-table"affair". Since then it has arguably grown to be the most popular "non-fastfood"joint in the city. They key there is the fast and amiable service, large servings that get you best value for your money not to mention its more than reasonable prices, and best of all, their "may nanam" dishes that have made us keep coming back for more.

I agree the Ciriaco should have a better menu for being such an upscale hotel in the making. I have been there and I also was a bit disappointed. However the Marcial's Grille, also in Calbayog was excellent, especially the baby back ribs and the spring rolls.
No I do not work for or with the restaurant, I was just a customer that appreciates good food.

Stayed for 2 nights last October, their selections of seafood were not fresh. The staff on my floor were noisy and inattentive (11th floor). Elevators remind me of those old buildings in Escolta, so slow. Overrated!!
