Robot Show at Kabukicho, Shinjuku

We went to JR Akihabara Station and jumped aboard the departing train heading to Shinjuku Station, the busiest train station in the world. Shinjuku is a special ward located in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative centre, housing the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administrative for the government of Tokyo.

We headed directly to Kabukicho, a red light district and entertainment in Shinjuku featuring numerous restaurants, bars, nightclubs, pachinko parlors and love hotels. We were planning to watch the Robot Show at Robot Restaurant because it's unlikely to be found anywhere else outside Japan. However, we changed our minds and decided it was better to just save the 12,000 Yen for other tourist spots. The restaurant facade with a sparkly mirrored wall seems a little tacky. Anyway, from the information that I've gathered this is an entertainment cabaret show featuring huge robots, sexy female dancers, pandas, dinosaurs, lasers and drums. This might seem a little bizarre for a foreign tourist. But for those looking for a crazy show go for it! A ticket cost 6,000 JPY per head including bento box meal.
