Dining at Banana Leaf

Our male friend, who works in Saudi was back home. The four of us decided to meet up in Greenbelt and dined at Banana Leaf, a multi-awarded international restaurant. It serves authentic Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Indian #cuisines. We ordered Bah Kut Teh (P238), Chicken Satay (P138), Malayan Beef Rendang (P288) and Tilapia Fillet with Assam Sambal sauce (P288). We used a banana leaf instead of a ceramic plate. Everything tasted okay and more on the spicy side. But the place has some drawbacks, the seating is a bit tight and the common restroom was filthy with overflowing trashcan and clogged sink.  :(

We were a bit full but then our dining extended through coffees, juices and cakes at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.


It was really nice to get together because we hadn't seen our two friends in such a long time. We pretty much talked about everything and hopefully our plan for an overnight hotel-cation will push through.
