ON CHRISTMAS DAY!

We woke up a bit early and headed to Cafe D'Asie again for our complimentary buffet breakfast. However, the breakfast fare was not as great as the buffet dinner. Most of the foods were a bit bland, though some of the breads made my day bright.

For our lunch, we called the room service to place an order. HB opted for Mushroom Pork Chops: two pieces pork chops in garlic mashed potato and creamy mushroom (Php 510+).

I chose Nasi Goring (Php 290+), an Indonesian beef and chicken sate with peanut sauce and fried rice topped with fried egg and prawn crackers. We had an amazing meal. Everything was truly delicious!

The Mango Crepe (Php 180+) stuffed with sliced mango and cream drizzled with chocolate sauce is one of my faves. I'll probably go to The Bellevue Hotel just to gobble this. :) Ahh, I'm now starting to drool just thinking about it.

Then later in the afternoon, we decided to use the free snack coupons that were included in the Yuletide promotion. With camera in hand, we went down to the main lobby at the Pastry Corner. We ordered take-out. While waiting, I took the time to take some photos.

The Pastry Corner was fully stocked with Christmasy festive sweets and chocolates.

We had ham and cheese croissant, regular ensaymada and iced tea. What a great and yummy snack! And it was free! :)

We proceeded to the Poolside area to enjoy our free welcome drinks - mango juice and iced tea.

We stayed there for a few minutes just watching the children playing in the swimming pool.

Since we enjoyed our lunch meal, we decided to call again the room service for our dinner. HB had mushroom pork chops for the second time.

While I had Salmon A La Grenobloise (Php 510+). It's a grilled salmon on garlic spinach and lemon caper butter. Instead of boiled potato, I requested steamed rice. Yummy!

I actually asked HB to take some photos of me holding the huge unconventional shape plates. :)

In general, we enjoyed our stay at The Bellevue Hotel. The Executive Suite Room was spacious but the decoration was somewhat minimal. The buffet dinner and the room service menu were excellent. But the buffet breakfast was forgettable. Staff service was very ordinary and not really efficient. Nevertheless, we super love the additional inclusion for guests who availed the 1+1 Suite promo. We got a Gift certificate for a weekend overnight stay in a deluxe room. I love freebies! Yipee!!!

So that's how we celebrated Our Christmas 2010, folks. :) How about you?
