HONG KONG DISNEYLAND

We went on a little adventure to Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, which is just one station away from Citygate Outlet (Tung Chung Line). Upon arrival at Sunny Bay station, we finally took the MTR Disneyland Resort Line Train.

It's a cute whimsical Disney-themed train with Mickey Mouse-shaped windows trimmed in red. And oh, I like the train classic interior - Disney themed adorns the walls complementing the attractive soft blue couches.

We purchased the one-day ticket HK$350 per adult (around Php2,000+) at the ticket booth outside the park.

First thing you'll see inside the park is the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad.

We got an English Map before heading out to explore the place. Maps are located outside the park next to Guest Relations and inside the park in the Plaza next to the Tip Board.

Just to give you an idea, Hong Kong Disneyland is divided into four different themed lands - Main Street U.S.A., Fantasyland, Advertureland and Tomorrowland.

In Main Street USA, you may meet the Disney characters like the good-natured Mickey Mouse and the lovely Minnie Mouse. I really like to mingle and have a photo-op with these cute characters but I hate standing in long queues. :(

We didn't go on any park rides plagued with long queues but we had fun just walking around the little theme park of Hong Kong Disneyland.

To date, Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest Disney parks in the world. But I have read a big expansion is in the works, with three new lands scheduled to open in 2014. Let's wait and see what happens.

Note: Watch out for my next post the Wet parade at Hong Kong Disneyland. :)
