Another shopping ghetto of ours, the cheapest and best place to go is Carrefour Hypermarket.
There's a huge locker area for shoppers and it's free of charge.
It is one of my favorite supermarkets in Shanghai that’s filled with hundreds of brands and specialty grocery products.
Great for browsing and has some wonderful rich sweet confections to bring home. Leconte is one of my faves that always satisfy my chocolate craving.
Carrefour also has a food court which lets diners enjoy with an amazing assortment of meal choices.
Restaurants are scarce outside of Grand Hyatt Shanghai and eating in a 5-star hotel is a bit expensive so we look for another option - McDonalds.
For some reason, I don't like the taste of their grilled chicken sandwich. :(

I haven't been to any Carrefour shop since Dubai. That Carrefour in Shanghai looks similar to the one in Taipei.
Speaking of Shanghai, the Husband is flying over there for a business trip next week. What can he get me from there, any ideas?

It really depends on what you like. Shanghai offers everything from small souvenirs to larger items. If you like Shanghai-style souvenirs, antiques and traditional food, you can get all of these at Yuyuan Bazaar.
I also like UAE's Carrefour. But they don't offer lockers here.
