The Lingyin Temple also known as either "Temple of the Soul's Retreat" or "Temple of Inspired Seclusion" was constructed in 326 AD at the foot of Lingyin Mountain and has a history of over 1,600 years. Sauntering through the temple complex, we also came upon to the Preaching Hall, Huayan Hall 500 Arhats Hall and Master Daoji Hall. There are also some historic and cultural relics such as old-aged Buddhist figures, stone sutra pagoda, stone pagoda, imperial stele, paintings and calligraphy in the temple.

Overall, the serenity and the natural surroundings coupled with a congenial weather made our tour enjoyable and relax. Feeling the mist just rejuvenates us and the cool breezing air had a tranquilizing effect on us.

This is one of the tourist attractions that should be at the top of everyone's list if you're in Hangzhou, China. For those interested, it is much better to visit the Lingyin Temple and the Peak Flying From Afar during the cool season when the atmosphere is perfectly awesome.
