ABOUT "AN ASIAN TRAVELER"

Welcome to a journey of heart and soul through the lens of An Asian Traveler. This blog is a canvas where the vibrant hues of Asia are painted with words and images, a personal diary of travel adventures, incredible sights, culinary delights, personal musings and reflections, and subtle style vibes that span over 18 years. It's a humble tribute to the continent's majestic landscapes, its rich tapestry of flavors, and the quiet elegance found in the everyday.

Hello lovely people, my name is Mhel, the owner and blogger of An Asian Traveler.

In 2006, I was the proud owner of the website 'The Asian Traveler.' Due to unforeseen circumstances, my original site was acquired by another entity. This setback led me to create a new space called 'An Asian Traveler.' I've been part of the blogging vanguard, sharing my stories since the days when blogging was a burgeoning form of expression. This blog stands as an independent entity and is not associated with any other entity bearing a similar name. While there is no direct link between our platforms, I wholeheartedly recommend that you might want to consider their content as well, to gain a more comprehensive view of the vibrant travel scene across Asia.

An Asian Traveler is not just a name; it's a promise of authenticity and a heartfelt invitation to explore the nooks and crannies of a land so diverse. It's a chronicle of experiences, both grand and intimate, shared with the hope of inspiring others to embark on their own paths of discovery.

This space is a labor of love, a reflection of a journey that's self-funded and deeply cherished. It's a testament to the belief that the most profound stories often come from the simplest of moments. Here, you'll find no pretense, no facade—just genuine tales from a traveler who values the quiet corners of the world as much as the bustling streets.

An Asian Traveler respects the sanctity of privacy, choosing to let the stories shine over the storyteller. While the face behind the blog, and  YouTube channel remains unseen, the spirit is ever-present, guiding you through each post with warmth and sincerity. Think of it as a superhero's secret identity, only with more passport stamps and less spandex.😄 This is not an oversight, but rather a conscious decision to preserve a modicum of privacy in a world increasingly dominated by the sharing of personal details. In this vast online landscape, where the lines between public and private often blur, I have chosen to keep those lines clear and distinct, safeguarding a space that remains solely my own.

While I admire those who comfortably share their lives online, I've chosen a different path. I believe there's a balance to be found between being a content creator and preserving personal boundaries.

That said, I do share a profile picture to give you a glimpse of the person crafting these posts. It's a small gesture to connect with you and acknowledge the human aspect of this digital exchange.

Thank you for respecting this approach and for your continued support. It means a great deal to me

For those who resonate with these stories and wish to spread the word, please do so with respect by linking back to AnAsianTraveler.com. It's the digital equivalent of saying "please" and "thank you"—good manners never go out of style.

So, grab a cup of tea, or coffee, or a kale smoothie (no judgment here), and dive into the delightful simplicity of An Asian Traveler. It's a blog that proves sometimes the best things in life are the stories we share, the places we see, and the laughs we have along the way. Thank you for dropping by and keeping the journey real.
